I love bacon. Bacon is the great American ingredient and it's used to enhance every possible food imaginable........

I'm very excited to introduce a product made by a company who really knows how to make bacon lovers happy. These Philadelphia food connoisseurs developed a way to blend savory bacon with brown sugar & other superior ingredients and "jam" it so it could be spread onto any possible food.

Bruce Kramer, one of The Bacon Jams founders, will be my guest TOMORROW, SEPT. 6TH - at 9:00 a.m. CST (10:00 a.m. EST)  on the radio show!  Tune in to hear Bruce explain how they came up with the jam as well as share recipes. Warning: you are gonna be hungry after listening to this one.

Here is the link to the show - which can be heard live or via the archived episode  -  same link:

The Bacon Jams company is currently undergoing a Kickstarter campaign & you can support their cause -- while receiving their delicacies by going to http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/corsaadvertising/the-bacon-jams-a-unique-sweet-and-spreadable-bacon

Recently I was given the great pleasure of sampling the products & we had a little taste test at my house. The Bacon Jams were sampled with a recipe from Recipe Records-the 60's Edition, a killer biscuit called "Danger Will Robinsons" (long story, read the book ;)
We sampled The All Original Bacon Jam, Black Pepper & Honey and Red Chile & Garlic...and surprisingly one flavor won by an overwhelming vote....

Would you like a chance to sample them (for free) at your house??
Then check out the products at www.thebaconjams.com and suggest a recipe for this fine product.
Email your suggestion to me at:  lanea@reciperecordscookbook.com

Hurry & send the email by midnight tomorrow, Sept. 6th, and your name will go into the drawing!

For those of you listening LIVE tomorrow -- Bruce will announce a way to win samples via Twitter!
